• Property and landlord ratings and reviews

• Your selected role (Tenant or Landlord)

2.3 Subscription & Purchase Information

• Subscription status (Free or Premium)

• Trial usage status

• Purchase history (all payment processing is managed entirely by Apple — we never see your payment card details)

2.4 Device Information

• Device identifier (used solely to prevent free trial abuse — one trial per device)

• App version

• Operating system version (iOS)

2.5 Usage & Analytics Data

• Features you access and interact with

• In-app navigation patterns

• Error logs and crash reports (to help us fix bugs)

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. Ever.

5.2 Service Providers We Use

We work with the following service providers who access only the minimum data necessary to provide their services:

Apple App Store

• Processes all subscription payments

• Apple's Privacy Policy governs payment data

• We never receive your payment card information

Google Firebase

• Provides secure database and authentication services

• Bound by Google's strict data processing terms

Google Sign-In (if you choose to use it)

• Optional authentication only

OpenRouter (AI API Gateway)

• Routes AI analysis requests to AI model providers

• Only receives issue descriptions, categories, states, and roles

• No personally identifiable information is sent

AI Model Providers (via OpenRouter)

• Process issue descriptions to generate educational legal analysis

• Providers include Google, Meta, and others accessed through OpenRouter

• Only receive limited data as described in our Third-Party AI Processing section

• Do not receive personally identifiable information

• Provide data protection equal to or greater than this Privacy Policy

5.3 Legal Disclosures

We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or to:

6. Public vs. Private Content

Understanding what others can see:

Think before you post publicly. Once posted to the community, your content is visible to all users.

 Third-Party AI Processing

How AI Processing Works

When you submit a rental issue for AI analysis within Rent Resolve AI, certain information is securely transmitted to our AI service provider in order to generate an educational legal response.

Information Sent to the AI Provider

The following information may be processed by our AI provider:

• The issue description text you voluntarily enter

• The issue category you select

• Your selected U.S. state

• Your selected role (Tenant or Landlord)

• Follow-up chat messages related to the same issue

This information is used solely to generate your requested analysis.

Information Not Sent to the AI Provider

We do not transmit the following information to any AI provider:

• Your name

• Your email address

• Your account credentials

• Your physical address

• Your phone number

• Payment details

• Device identifiers or device-specific data

Personal account data remains securely stored on our own systems and is not shared with AI model providers.

AI Service Infrastructure

Our AI service is accessed through OpenRouter (https://openrouter.ai), which acts as a secure API gateway connecting to AI models provided by third-party providers, including Google and others.

These providers process only the limited information necessary to generate a response.

Data Protection & Processing Safeguards

All data transmitted for AI processing is:

• Sent over encrypted HTTPS connections

• Processed only for the purpose of generating your requested analysis

• Not used by us to train AI models

• Not intentionally stored permanently by the AI provider

We implement reasonable technical safeguards to protect user data during transmission.

Our third-party AI service providers (OpenRouter and the AI model providers accessed through OpenRouter) are required to provide protection of user data that is equal to or greater than the protections described in this Privacy Policy. 

These providers are bound by their own privacy policies and data processing terms that include industry-standard data protection measures.

User Consent

The app requests your explicit consent through an in-app consent screen before sending any data to AI services for the first time. 

This consent screen clearly discloses:

• What data will be sent to the AI

• Who the data is sent to

• How your data is protected

You must tap "I Agree" before any data is transmitted to AI services. You may 

decline AI processing and continue using non-AI features of the app (community 

forum, property ratings, browsing).

You can revoke your AI data processing consent at any time by going to:

Profile → Settings → AI Data Processing 

→ Toggle Off

Revoking consent will disable AI analysis features but will not affect your account 

or other app features.

7. Your Data Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

7.1 Right to Access

View all your data directly within the App at any time, including your issues, chats, and profile information.

7.2 Right to Delete

Delete specific content:

• Delete individual posts, comments, ratings, or issues within the App

Delete your entire account:

• Go to: Profile → Settings → Delete Account

• This permanently removes ALL your data

• Deletion is irreversible

7.3 Right to Opt-Out

• Turn off notifications in your iPhone Settings → Notifications → Rent Resolve AI

• Delete your account to stop all data collection

8. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act:

• Right to Know: What personal information we collect and how we use it

• Right to Delete: Request deletion of your personal information

• Right to Opt-Out: We do not sell data, so this is already fulfilled

• Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights

If you are located in the European Union, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

Note: Rent Resolve AI is designed primarily for US users. If you access the App from outside the US, your data may be transferred to and stored in the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your country.

10. Children's Privacy

Rent Resolve AI is not intended for users under 18 years of age.

• We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18

• If you are under 18, please do not use this App

• If you believe a child under 18 has created an account, contact us immediately at info.zashq@gmail.com and we will delete their account and data promptly

• Display an in-app notification

• Send an email notification if applicable

Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
