I am currently a PhD student in Materials Science and Engineering at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, advised by Prof. Jian-Min (Jim) Zuo. Previously, I graduated from Peking University with a Bachelor's degree in Physics, working in Prof. Yuan Li's research group. My research is in the area of electron microscopy, materials science, and experimental condensed matter physics.

With my multidisciplinary background, my research aims at solving materials problem with tools from physics, chemistry, mechanical engineering, and computer science. I am especially enthusiastic about developing new techniques and revealing new potential of the existing ones.
