Renfrew County Children’s Coordinated Access Committee (RCCCAC) is both an access and a case resolution mechanism. It is designed to streamline access to services and supports for children, and youth (under 18 yrs.) and their families who have complex needs and are having difficulty gaining access to supports and services in our community and/or who need access to more specialized supports outside of Renfrew County. RCCCAC is also the single point of access to ministry-funded residential services.
RCCCAC uses a collaborative and community-based approach that provides recommendations and referrals for our most in need youth. It ensures a timely and seamless system of services for children and youth with complex/hard to serve mental health issues as well as children with other complex and multiple special-needs (developmental disabilities, autism, etc.)
RCCCAC is determined to ensure that our rural and large geographical nature not be a barrier to meeting the needs of our most in need youth.
