What are Digital Health and Welfare?
Digital health and welfare refers to a person's mental and physical health in a digital environment. Technology offers a lot of fun and opportunity, but a good, balanced existence depends on our ability to divide our use of it according to our own and other people's needs. Educators should consider how much screen time is appropriate for students, particularly in 1:1 classes or schools.
Examples of Digital Health and Welfare:
Device-free periods
Screen limit times
Wellness breaks
*Parents and students feel free to review the "Calm" website. Below, I have attached the link to the website. This app is a mindfulness and meditation app that offers a variety of tools to help users manage stress, sleep better, and live healthier lives.
