My name is Clara Thomas, and this is my capstone project. I have chosen to do this capstone project because I have been interested in my family's gas and oil business for a long time. The business is known as CEFCO, and it is gas stations/convenience stores located throughout the southeast, from Texas to Florida. As we move closer to using electric cars, it's time to start thinking about how gas stations will adapt to this change. During the course of the semester, I have been researching how gas stations are looking to make their space inclusive of electric cars. After my research, I designed a 3D gas station for CEFCO, including areas that are useful as people wait for their cars to charge. I plan to major in economics in college and my capstone project has taught me how to think about the future market economy.
