Gasoline or Electric?
For most electric cars, it takes about eight hours to charge from empty to full. However, quick charges like 100 miles of range takes about 35 minutes.
Electric cars are easy to keep up with and cost very little to recharge. EV's are also good for the environment, as they have lower greenhouse gas emissions than gas-fueled vehicles. A downside may be the charging time but with the new CEFCO design, consumers will be happy to wait at CEFCO.
Spending money on gas becomes very costly. However, as we start using electric cars we will not be paying as much. The cost of electric cars ranges anywhere from $0.31 cents a minute to $0.45 cents a minute. Instead of paying for gasoline, you are paying for a kilowatt-hour (kWh). The monthly average a person spends on gasoline is $150 but charging electric cars only costs about $60 each month.
Most big companies have already announced that they plan on producing a certain amount of EV's by a specific date. General Motors is 100% dedicated to producing all EV's by 2035, and stopping selling gas and diesel vehicles. Big companies like these want to decrease the carbon emissions their cars are producing. Honda has also announced they will only sell EV's after 2022. The question is how will all ages adapt to this change? Though a lot of car companies are focused on producing more electric cars, gas and diesel vehicles will not go away for a while. Certain age groups who are not comfortable using electric cars will still have the option to drive gas-powered cars. However, in a few years, you will start seeing a lot more electric vehicles on the road.
