Kirkwood Community College and the Area 10 Regional Advisory Council approved our model critical competencies on April 12, 2016.
Districts using other courses in their program of study are responsible for identifying critical competencies for their unique courses. These will need to be presented for approval by the Area 10 Regional Advisory Council.

The annual review for the model Business Program of Study will take place at our spring Grant Wood Perkins Consortium Business Regional Advisory Council meeting. During this meeting our standards and benchmarks, course sequence, critical competencies, and technical skill assessments will be presented for review and approval by Kirkwood Community College and Regional Advisory Council members. These members include Kirkwood Community College Business/IT program supervisors, professors, industrial partners, and retired teachers. Upon approval by our Regional Advisory Council members, our teachers will work to fully implement their Programs of Study.
