Introduction

Terms used to describe the process of adapting to a new culture by an individual who is not fully knowledgeable of a particular place (Re-imaging Migration 2019).

A temporary settlement to accommodate newly displaced individuals who have fled their country of origin (UNHCR 2018).

For the purpose of this study a refugee center is a place that provides resources, counseling, and in some cases, classes to help refugees gain their independence in their new country.
