This exhibition and project came two years, two weeks after our last live exhibition and the first Covid-19 lockdown. We missed out on a live exhibition in 2021, but went online like everyone else.
March 2022 we came back together at the Art Pavilion, which was special for all our young people.
As we take a moment and reflect on the journey to this point, we acknowledge that we have all been through such a lot personally and professionally. Now that life is gradually returning to normal, we find a desire to reconnect and renew our sense of self and get back to being creative together.
The Isolation Room installation acted as a space where visitors could share reflections, thoughts and experiences. These were shared by tying messages to rope and or posting them in a reflection box, and or recording their thoughts with the interviewer videographer.
We hope that visitors came away inspired and with a renewed sense of togetherness.
