Reflect Reconnect Renew 2022
a THAT network London Live Exhibition and Online Exhibition
'Reflect Reconnect Renew' is an art exhibition showcasing work from schools across Tower Hamlets. The schools once again exhibited at the Art Pavilion in Mile End park after a year's break due to pandemic closures. The work produced by students presents their reflection of the past two years, during which their lives as well as their education have been disrupted. It also provides an opportunity for them to reconnect with peers and community, and to renew and look to the future with hope and optimism. Part of the show included a collaborative art piece , The Isolation Room, where visitors were invited to share their own reflections on recent events. Throughout the duration of the exhibition, students took part in a number of workshops organised by artists, our partners and supporters.
Thank you to our funders Tower Hamlets Council and THAMES; our partners and supporters, London Metropolitan School of Art, Architecture and Design, University of the Arts (UAL), Whitechapel Gallery, Bow Arts, Chisenhale Gallery and The Prince's Foundation

The live exhibition and project came two years, two weeks after our last exhibition and the first lockdown. We missed out on a live exhibition in 2021, but went online like everyone else.
March 2022 we came back together and created a special event for all our young people and partners to showcase what they have been doing. Alongside the exhibition, we created a live collaborative installation to engage visitors to participate and add their reflections over the last two years to The Isolation Room.
