Crafted Wix websites, elevated social media engagement through strategic campaigns, and empowered students with an inclusive curriculum, practical skills, and career guidance, all while staying at the forefront of industry trends.
Balancing dual roles as a Social Media Manager and Digital Marketing Facilitator was a significant challenge. While managing social media campaigns required meticulous planning, creative copywriting, and strict adherence to content schedules, teaching digital marketing to visually impaired students demanded adaptive teaching strategies, inclusive curriculum design, and constant attentiveness to their unique needs. The complexity of juggling these responsibilities simultaneously tested my time management, creativity, and ability to maintain high-quality output in both roles.
STEP #1. Streamlining Social Media Management
To handle the demands of social media management effectively, I employed automation tools like scheduling software to maintain a consistent posting schedule. I developed a detailed content calendar to align posts with broader campaign objectives and set clear deadlines for content creation, approval, and publishing. Additionally, I implemented analytics tools to monitor campaign performance, which helped in making data-driven decisions to optimize engagement. These efficiencies allowed me to allocate more time to teaching without compromising the quality of social media campaigns.
STEP #2. Designing Inclusive Teaching Methods
Teaching visually impaired students required an adaptive and inclusive approach. I redesigned the curriculum to focus on tools and platforms that were accessible with screen readers, such as JAWS and NVDA. Practical sessions were adjusted to emphasize verbal explanations, tactile resources, and live demonstrations to ensure comprehension. I also fostered an open communication environment where students felt comfortable providing feedback on the teaching process. This iterative approach allowed me to refine lessons, ensuring they met both educational objectives and students’ unique needs.
By optimising time management and employing a strategic, inclusive approach, I successfully balanced the demands of both roles. As a result, social media engagement increased significantly, and visually impaired students were equipped with practical digital marketing knowledge that empowered them to pursue professional opportunities. This dual achievement highlighted my adaptability and strengthened my skills as a brand strategist.
