AI image generators are software that create images based on instructions from users called prompts. You tell an AI art generator what to create and after a few seconds you get an image. These generators can produce different kinds of images, from oil paintings to photos and cartoons.
You can waste time searching for images online in order to create slideshows, flashcards, worksheets etc. Why bother when AI can produce pictures tailored to match your needs. Just give AI a promts and it will create what you are looking for. Just describe the picture and AI will create if for you..
Although writing an accurate AI prompt is no rocket science, it takes your creative & critical thinking along with the use of keywords to write a perfect AI prompt.
Be sure to include the key details you are looking for in your image, this would include:
Type of image: The style you want such as a photograph, cartoon, vector or sketch.
Subject: The person, people, or objects to focus on.
Location: The setting of the image.
Details: Any important details about the image you want to include or exclude.
Desired effect and emotion: The emotions being captured in the image along with the effect it is meant to have on the viewer.
Color palette: The color scheme to be used, if applicable.
Putting these details together you can summarize the prompt template in just few sentences.
"Create a [image type] of [subject] in [location], focusing on [specific details], capturing the [emotion] in a [type of style]. Us a [color palette selection]"
It's all about the prompts.

Speech Bubbles-Putting students in pairs and giving each pair a set of images. The students then add speech or thought bubbles to at least two people or objects in the image.

Matching the pictures to the vocabulary words
Descriptions: Students describe a flashcard and their classmates guessing the word.
Word Race: The teacher places the images around the room. The class is divided into teams. One member of each time comes up. When the teacher says the word in English or the translation, the students race to get the card first.
Quick draw: Two sudents stand back to back. Each student has a picture of a different vocabulary word. When the teacher says "go" they step three steps away then turn around. The first one to identify the word wins.
