October - November Activities
Students complete a Pre-Survey about the Project.
They introduce themselves by creating a Poster and share it on a common online Wall.
They pin a favourite "Happy Place" on a Map.
Foster digital citizenship: encourage a responsible and creative use of technology (Canva, Padlet, TwinSpace) for educational collaboration.
Initiate intercultural dialogue: promote the discovery and appreciation of different cultures and geographical contexts through shared "Happy Places".
Promote self-reflection: guide students to start thinking about their own well-being and what makes them feel "at home" or happy.
Build a European community: lay the foundation for collaboration and a sense of belonging among partners from the very beginning.
Improve written English: draft short, meaningful introductions and descriptions for the personal posters.
Enhance digital communication: use the common online Wall to interact with peers using appropriate and positive language.
Master collaborative tools: learn to use Canva for graphic design and Padlet (or the TwinSpace) for sharing content.
Interactive mapping: use digital maps to "pin" locations, understanding the connection between digital tools and geographical data.
Develop Self-Awareness: identify personal "Happy Places" as a form of reflection on mental well-being and emotional safety.
Critical Thinking: analyze and complete the pre-survey to reflect on personal expectations and existing knowledge about the project theme.
Creativity: design an original visual representation (Poster) that reflects the student's personality and identity.
Active Participation: engage with the project community by reading and responding to partners' introductions.
Problem-solving: navigate new digital platforms and troubleshoot basic layout or uploading issues independently.
