Kuala Rompin is one of the world most famous sailfish fishing spot. It is located on the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia, approximately 300km away from KLIA (Kuala Lumpur International Airport). Popular months for sailfish fishing are often told to be start from August and last till October, but this is just a general estimation as the group might reach earlier or extend their stay due to many reasons such as weather and availability of bait fish. Beside targeting for sailfish, there are other kind of fishing you can do here. Light jigging, lure casting and bottoming are other popular fishing method much enjoyed by anglers.
