Our inaugural junior club runs as an after-school club for students at Carrington School.
If your child or children are Primary age, please consider Albury Juniors.
If they are Secondary age and attend other schools please respond to our survey by 31st October 2025.

Carrington Tigers

Redhill and Reigate Badminton Club provides professional coaching to lead 2 court sessions for a maximum of 15 pupils.

The club is free.

We expect all participants to arrive on time with appropriate non-marking footwear. While the school can provide basic badminton rackets, we encourage club members to bring their own.

Timings are 2.20pm - 4.00pm on Wednesdays and Fridays.

If you are interested in finding out more about this club, please watch out for communications from the school.

All normal school rules apply regarding participation and expected conduct.

How is it free?

We have joined the school's community partnership programme, which allows us to financially underwrite the cost of coaching.

What are the coach's qualifications?

Coaches will have at least a Level 2 qualification, endorsed by Badminton England. They also have insurance, and a current eDBS certificate. They are not Carrington School staff, but are paid by Redhill and Reigate Badminton Club as professionals. All of our coaches have had at least county level playing experience and national rankings.

Where else can my child play badminton?

If your child is under 11 then please contact Albury Junior Badminton Club. If they are over 11 and have reached a good level of competence (2.0 or above on our rating chart), then you can contact us.
