Engage your class by using a fun coding game to create and program a dragon. Take part in the world wide Hour of Code during Computer Science Education Week December 4th-10th, 2017 or fit a coding game into your schedule whenever is convenient for you!
Have students create wanted posters for a dragon or another mythical creature as featured on the back cover of the book. Canva is a free, easy to use design program (although it does require an email to sign up).
Once students have signed in, they can choose a poster layout. Then with a few clicks, change the pictures and text to fit their idea. Finished products can be downloaded and displayed online or printed to be showcased around your school.
