Recovery Through Christ Ministries
At this time there is no charge. We are supported by various churches and individuals. Eventually, when a man begins working he will be expected to give one-fourth of his pay to the house. During the final phase, as the man looks toward transitioning into the community this percentage may be lowered.

The man should expect to be here for at least six-months to a year. Education, finding self and God, developing new habits, relationships, improving job skills, locating a job, and housing takes time. If you are still in the "big hurry" mode of life... well, the Recovery Through Christ Center is not really for you. We desire men who are serious about settling down, getting sober, and are not seeking the quick fix. We are here to present a Biblical World View and lifestyle, which affects every area of a man's life, not only his present concern toward addiction.
That is wonderful! You actually desire sobriety! This time you will be introduced to the Lord's method of recovery. This is a program... which opens a man's life toward allowing God to relate, assist, and minister to him. We need the ability, we need the power to change, and the one who created us has that power! When we closed the door on him we placed serious limitations upon ourselves. This time we will establish all other relationships upon our primary relationship with Christ. As we get straight with him, will will get straight with others. It is not of our nature, or natural, but living life in the supernatural which makes the difference! That is what God intended from the beginning. The people we had other intention. We developed our own agenda toward life and discarded His! Not so smart.
Of course you do! We all do! And we all sensed what you are talking about! That emptiness, the void. The feeling there has to be something more, but what is it? That is why Jesus... God is not the final step, the rather the first step toward recovery. He removes the void! Hello! God has a wonderful plan for your life; not me, not the good Doctor, or the local AA Group. Only a relationship with Christ can provide that motivation to get straight and to stay straight. In my case, I did not have a reason to get sober. I needed a reason, a purpose, something greater then simply staying sober cause other people wanted me to be sober. I didn't care about what other people wanted until Jesus changed my heart! See... our problem is our heart attitude, and Jesus has the ability to change our attitudes, our everything! So we go straight to the source of the solution... we begin with Jesus! The very person many of us tried to avoid is the very person who removes the void and makes life worth living!
