By installing or using ChatN, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms of Use, as well as the Privacy Policy.
2. Ethical and Lawful Use
ChatN is designed to improve the user’s experience by saving and organizing notification content in a clear and accessible way, as well as displaying status media and recoverable media for applications that appear with three dedicated tabs in the main interface. These features are intended solely to help users manage and access their own data more conveniently. All data is stored locally on the device only. Users are expected to use the app in a lawful and responsible manner consistent with general digital communication norms. The developer is not responsible for any misuse of the app and encourages users to use ChatN in an ethical and responsible way.
3. Application Usage Alignment
Although all notification and media handling in ChatN occurs locally based on the information already available on the user’s device, users are encouraged to add applications in a manner consistent with the terms and policies of those applications. If any application’s policies prohibit saving or retaining its notifications or media locally, the user should avoid adding that application to ChatN .
4. Transparency and Consent
Users should inform other parties that they are using an application capable of displaying notification content or previously viewed status media.
5. Privacy and Respect for Others
If any individual requests that the user delete status media or message content related to them, the user agrees to honor the request promptly and without objection.
6. Permissions and Access
ChatN requires certain permissions to function as intended, such as:
Notification Access to display notification content
Statuses Folder Access to view status media already stored on the device
Optional Media Access to temporarily save media for recovery
These permissions must be granted by the user manually, and all functionality depends on user approval.
7. Local Data Processing
All tasks within ChatN operate locally on the user’s device.
The app does not upload, sync, or share any user data with external services.
8. Advertisements
ChatN may display in-app advertisements provided through Google AdMob.
These ads are used to support the continued development of the app.
9. In-App Purchases
Some features may require optional in-app purchases.
All payments are handled securely through Google Play Billing.
The app does not process or store any financial information.
10. Feature Limitations
ChatN does not guarantee message or media recovery in all cases.
Successful recovery requires that notifications are received before deletion, which may depend on having an active internet connection at the time the message is sent. Media recovery also requires that automatic media download is enabled in the supported application; any media that was not downloaded to the device cannot be recovered. Additionally, recovery reliability may vary due to system behavior, battery optimization settings, and device-specific power management restrictions.
11.Support for Status and Media Tabs
Support for Status and Media features within ChatN is limited to applications that appear with dedicated Status and Media tabs after being added by the user. Applications that display only the Messages tab are not supported for status viewing or media recovery.
12. Independence and Non-Affiliation
ChatN is an independent application.
It is not affiliated, endorsed, or associated with any third-party application or company.
All trademarks, names, and logos belong to their respective owners.
13. Modification of Terms
These Terms of Use may be updated or modified at any time without prior notice.
Users are responsible for reviewing the Terms periodically.
14. No Retrieval of Pre-Installation Data
ChatN does not retrieve or restore any messages, media, or notifications that were received or deleted prior to the app’s installation. All recovery features apply only to content received after the necessary permissions have been granted and the app is actively running.
15. Termination of Use
Users may stop using the app at any time.
Uninstalling the app will remove all local data permanently.
