1. Introduction
ChatN is a personal assistant application that uses notification access to display the content of notifications from apps selected by the user, including messages that may be deleted later. The app can also display status media from supported applications by reading the existing content already stored in their Statuses folder. Additionally, ChatN may create temporary local copies of newly downloaded media to help users recover them if they are lost within a limited time period. All tasks operate locally on the user’s device and only according to the permissions granted.

2. Privacy Policy
2.1. Data Collection
ChatN does not collect, store, or share any personal information.
All messages, notifications, and media remain stored locally on your device.
The app does not transmit any data to external servers or third parties.
2.2. Permissions
Notification Access
Required to display the content of notifications from apps selected by the user within ChatN
Media Access Permission (Optional)
This permission is requested only when the user adds an application that supports the Media Tab feature.
It allows the app to create a temporary local copy of newly downloaded media so it can be recovered if lost or deleted within a two-day retention period.
This permission is optional, and the user may choose not to grant it if they do not wish to keep a temporary media copy.
Statuses Folder Access
This permission is used solely to display the status media already available in the supported application's Statuses folder, allowing the user to view these statuses within ChatN and optionally save them locally for later access.
2.3. Data Storage
All recovered messages, statuses, and media files remain stored locally on the user’s device.
No data is uploaded, synced, or shared with any external service.
2.4. Advertisements
ChatN includes in-app advertisements provided through Google AdMob.
Ads are displayed only inside the app interface and do not require any personal data from the user.
The app does not collect or transmit data for ad personalization.
2.5. In-App Purchases
Premium features or ad removal are securely processed through Google Play Billing.
ChatN does not handle or store financial or payment information.
2.6. Data Deletion
Users may delete all locally stored messages, media, statuses, and cached data at any time from within the app’s settings.
Uninstalling the app permanently removes all locally stored data.
