[June 2025] The workshop of the 4th year (yet, 1st year of 2nd phase) was held at Inha University. This year, we have additionally and specifically discussed about "AI for Good", with a focus on AI for helping the dementia or Alzheimer. Our research proposal entitled "Deep Total Recall: Continual Learning for Human-Like Recall of Artificial Neural Networks" (PI: Prof. Dong-Wan Choi) has been accepted for the next 5 years grant by IITP (사람중심인공지능핵심원천기술개발사업) as much as 5 billion KRW (4 million USD) in total. In this project, Prof. Choi and 5 other professors (Seung-Hwan Bae, Yeongjin Kim, Young-Duk Seo, Bo-Yong Park, Younggun Cho) at Inha Univ. are going to develop novel technologies on how a neural network can 'recall' the knowledge it has learned just like how human brain does.
