English I (2015-2016)
Semester A | The Power Up project was my 9th grade final, one I was particularly proud of. It involved creative writing pieces I worked hard to make and edit, and a few digital drawings.
My ability to present before an audience improved, since I had to read aloud the pieces I had written to the class, and along with my technical knowledge of digital drawing.
English I (2015-2016)
Semester B | I was also awarded Most Outstanding Student for the 2015 - 2016 school year for English I, courtesy of Ms. Brown.
English II (2016-2017)
Semester A | As part of my creative semester project, I interviewed one person per week and wrote either a creative or memoir piece based on what was said. My creative skills here were challenged, and I gained a better understanding of how to prepare questions and note-taking to interview someone.
English II (2016 - 2017)
Semester B | The team I was placed on created this 1984 Propaganda Poster, which we creatively made slogans and arranged art for, leading to a better understanding of the novel.
Our team's presentations was one of the more detailed and elaborate in class as well.
AP English Language and Composition (2017 -2018)
Semester A | In this class I majorly work on developing our analytical skills in AP English Language, so we may write concrete essays for our AP exam at the end the year. The artifact here shows the very first essay I did in class, which I received a score of 4 out of 9 on.
