Computer Science I (2016-2017)
Semester A | This is the first computer science I have ever taken. We learn and participate in incredible things, such as the Verizon App Challenge! I worked very hard on it, along with the team I was in. Never before had I created an animated video before, and I learned a new skill by simply completing this assignment!

Semester B | Creativity Shell Fashion Show
In this class we upcycled dresses and worked to design our own LED clothes to fit the theme of "The Orient Express." I was inspired by the late 1800's fashion and design a dress with a long pick-up maroon skirt with petticoats, along with a dramatic golden polison in the back. To contrast the grand and dark colors, I decided to add flower light designs in the depth of the lower tulle fabric to add cute and whimsical flair.
Creativity Shell!
Working with Creativity Shell, I participated in a unique fashion show at the Humble Civic Center on March 30 presenting my own original design in an LED dress! I also participated in an opening train act with a white dress with my fellow classmates and really enjoyed the overall experience.
Our business and team name is Ebe Lyn Co., inspired by our names Rebecca and Dazlyn. We chose to create the app Express Me! because we believed the topic of autism was something that didn't receive much light in the technological community, much less supporting solutions in the outer world. We also thought of how amazing it would be to help others and give back to the community we have always lived in.
Express Me! is an app designed to assist children with autism to learn to decipher and better develop different emotions, talk to peers with similar problems, enhance social skills at their own pace, and find easier ways to contact parents, psychologists, and friends!
