Concepts of Engineering (2014-2015)
Eighth grade year I took Concepts of Engineering as a class, and we worked on various presentations and experiments. To the side is the presentation we created for our Bottle Rocket experiment, which our team worked hard on and did well presenting.
Engineering Design and Presentation (2015-2016)
The new team I was with in Engineering, Design, and Presentation were great speakers, and I improved my presentation skills drastically.
Advanced Engineering Design and Presentation 2 (2017-2018)
Semester A | A large portion of the first semester of EDP 2 consisted of research, and our first major project to require research to be presented to the class was our GPS Implant Presentation, where our group designed an ideal implant for soldiers at war.
Advanced Engineering Design and Presentation 2 (2017-2018)
Semester B | The second semester of this course focused majorly on small engineering projects, such as creating a Rube Goldberg machine and Ball Launcher. Below are images of each project.
Day of the Girl 2018
Semester A | To celebrate international Day of the Girl, students organized activities and set-up promotional and encouraging messages. The pictures in the right and below show the art and messages I created in order to promote Girl Day.

Additionally, in a team of three, we modeled a conflict resolution exercise in the form of a video in class, in order to better understand and communicate in campaigns or working to meet certain goals.
Women's History Month
My team of Nancy and I worked on window art and decorations around the school for Women's History Month in our Engineering Design and Problem Solving classes in the month of March.
We aimed to draw iconic women and poses that would represent and empower, leaving an inspiring message for girls and women for the month of March!
Creativity Shell!
Working with Creativity Shell, I participated in a unique fashion show at the Humble Civic Center on March 30 presenting my own original design in an LED dress! I also participated in an opening train act with a white dress with my fellow classmates and really enjoyed the overall experience.
Pnuematic Judo Bot!
In class we created a Judo arm as a team in order to later participate in a fighting competition! We used new materials to design and build it so it would work only based on air, and plan to add a cardboard component so it can fight other robots.
The finished product, our hydraulic judo bot worked perfectly, ready for battle! We even worked with different amounts of fluid and air in order to make it swing faster.
