This is a self-paced online course meant for self-study at your own pace. The first MODULE of the course will cover general Principles of an Islamic Education (PIE). To REGISTER for this module, fill out the Google Form: Registration PIE . Those who have already registered for Real Statistics: An Islamic Approach need not register again separately for this module. For a detailed email explaining how the course has been revised and re-structured into separated modules, see E4: Restructure - This means that the material related to Statistics will be developed later (than originally planned). The first module will go much deeper into the foundations of an Islamic approach, and therefore will take longer. This is in accordance with the nature and interest of the 200+ participants who have registered for this course.

This first module is broken into units meant to be covered roughly in one week. However, students are free to cover at their own pace, and also to cover only those units which are of interest to them.

1. Unit:- Developing an Islamic WorldView. : Western education creates within us a Western worldview, according to which history of mankind starts in 16th century Europe, and all good things known to man come from Europe. Obviously this in conflict with Islamic teachings, according to which the final Message of God to mankind came to us 14 centuries ago, and enlightened the world. How to resolve this conflict is the subject of this unit.
2. Unit: Islamic Education: Everything about an Islamic education is very different from what we learn about education from the West. Whereas Western education is designed to produce human resources, standardized parts for the production of wealth, Islam teaches us how produce human beings. It teaches us the value of human lives, as the best of the creation. Developing capabilities for excellence within human beings is the goal of an Islamic education.
