Born into a time of peace within all realms, Hao Tian was named in the hopes that he be as free as the vastly open skies. Raised under the soft moonlight of the moon, deep in the wild mountains and strange forests of his home the elders of his clan quickly realized that he was a prodigy that was rarely seen. Taking him from his parents at a young age they began teaching him in the hopes that he could one day become the mount and guardian of the Moon Goddess. A role that had not been filled since the last great heavenly wars.
Centuries passed and like all times of peace, unrest began to form once more. A new Demon Queen rose within the demon realm with a craving for power that had not been seen in a millennia. Like all wars come to be the Heavenly Realm waited too long before taking action. By the time that they did her power had grown to a terrifying degree. The battles that came devastated all of the realms. Many well established clans were wiped from existence as they fought to bring down this great evil.
Several years into the war the Moon Palace was drawn into the battles. The Demon Queen had learned of a pool in their kingdom whose waters were said to make those who drank from it immune to poison and injury and as beautiful as the moon. Severely wounded from the last battle against the heavenly emperor she fled to the Moon Kingdom and began to raise it to the ground in search of the Etherial Pool. It was then that the Moon Dragons rose to defend their home, for the Etherial Pool had long been left under their protection. A sacred duty given to them by the Moon Goddess as thanks for their ancestor who had once carried her on his back into battle.
It was there, in White Peach Forest that the Demon Queen was finally defeated. The Heavenly Emperor arriving in time to turn the battle against her along side the Moon Goddess and the Moon Dragons. Yet not soon enough, for as the Demon Queen took her final breath, so to did the last of the Moon Dragon Elders. The war was ended and for many as the centuries passed it became a distant memory. Until it was forgotten by most that the Demon Queens mirror that had been imbuded with her power had never been found.
For Hao Tian, who had been left as the final line of defense on the edges of the Etherial Pool however, his life was forever changed. Suddenly the leader of a nearly wiped out spirit clan he went from a life of peace and freedom to one weighed with responsibility and fate. He became the Moon Etherial, Guardian of the Etherial Pool, Elder of the Moon Dragons, and the Honored Mount of the Moon Goddess.

This verse can take place anywhere in his canonical timeline. Either before, during, or after the celestial war that led to him becoming the Moon Etherial. If not requested, this will be the main verse replied from set after the war when he'd taken on the roles that fate has given him.

After the final blow that would lead to her death the Demon Queen fled the battle field. Landing on the shores of the Etherial Pool and unable to reach the water she instead cast her mirror out, forcing it into Hao Tian's body and core with the last of her strength. Ensuring that even with her death, her title and power as the ruler of the demon realm would not be lost.
The merging of the mirror into his body, one of the purest bodies in all of the realms due to him being a Moon Dragon, demonized Hao Tian and caused him to break through his current stage. Turning him from a Spiritual Beast into an Immortal.
Yet even with this new dark power coursing through his veins his mind and body's former purity meant that he didn't descend fully into the dark corruption and desire of power as many demons faced. Now he rules over a part of Demon realm, allowing the rest of the realms and kingdoms within to believe that he has become cruel and ruthless when in fact he's brought a level of peace to his subjects that hasn't been seen in a millennia.
Yet even with his power and the fact that many of his subjects love him, unrest simmers in the shadows. Ready to ignite at a moments notice.

Born as the son of the Imperial General of Borealis, an Island Kingdom of eternal winter with a dark secret, Mo Tian quickly rose through the ranks. Upon his 24th birthday, he was granted the position of the Royal Imperial Guard to the Princess Lumi, who had just been diagnosed with the Cold Death. Along with this position, his father granted him a fruit that he had been saving for his son for several years, the Mythical Moon Dragon Fruit. One that, when found by the Imperial Family, is always given to the heir of the Imperial General.
It was during his time as Lumi's personal guard that he began to suspect the dark secret of the Imperial Family, one that was confirmed the night that she fled from the kingdom, knocking him out before he could help her leave and lead to his own banishment.
Yet now, with his eyes opened he couldn't unsee the darkness of his kingdom, nor ignore the Cold Death, an illness that was slowly claiming more and more with each generation. So when the orders came to hunt the Princess down, he took them without complaint. Only he's not hunting Lumi to bring her home, instead he's looking for ways to help her and their kingdom. All while doing his best to keep the darker forces sent by her parents off of her trail.

Born as the second son of the General of Yi Ti's imperial armies, Hao Tian was raised with a sword and spear in his hands. His training began from the time that he could walk and by the age of ten, he was appointed as the future guard to the Imperial Princess Xue Lumi.
Since that time, he has been by her side. Training with her first guard and her secretly and then eventually taking over the official title as her Head Guard when her previous one retired. The people, who adore their princess, have long seen the devotion he has to her and have come to refer to him as Snow's Shadow since wherever their princess is, Hao Tian is not far behind.
One of the rarest kinds of dragons, Moon Dragons reside on the Moon and protect the Moon Goddess, her Kingdom, and the Etherial Pool. They're coloring is that of soft whites, ivories, and silvers and it is said that their scales glow with the soft light of the moon. Their horns are made of pure ivory and grow like branches from their crowns. Their teeth is as sharp as diamonds and their fire is that of Moon Fire. A fire so cold that its white and anything that does not vanish under its heat turns to frozen glass.
Due to the fact that they are bathed in the Etherial Pool upon hatching and then soak in the healing light of the moon their entire life, it is said that to be in the mere presence of a Moon Dragon can bring healing and peace. It is due to this and the healing properties that are naturally imbued into their body that some will try to hunt a Moon Dragon for their scales, horns, or teeth to add to elixirs.
