Through this project, we hope to be able to give children the time to read, explore, and have fun with books. If you would like someone to read with your child, this is the perfect place. To provide a fun and enjoyable time of reading and exploring
Why?
A study done by the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development proved that reading helps children have better reading and cognitive skills. In addition, reading to children stimulates language growth and literacy. Children who were read to at home were proven to score better in the National Assessment Program - Literacy and Numeracy. Once a meeting is scheduled for your child, you will get a confirmation email from one of our volunteers.
