Angiograms of arms, legs, face
Post contrast scans (heads, abdomens, chests)
Split bolus CAP
Angiograms
Orbits and face: 1 minute
Venogram: 45 seconds
Post contrast Brain: 2-4 minutes
Late arterial: 30 seconds
Late arterial: 35 seconds
Portal venous: 65-75 seconds (based on age)

How can you tell the difference between these phases on the abdomen?
Arterial: Contrast enhancement in aorta, little in IVC. Mottled spleen and non-enhanced liver parenchyma. Kidneys have contrast only in the cortex
Venous: Homogenous contrast enhancement of liver and spleen. Enhancement of aorta , IVC and PV's. Kidneys have contrast in medullary stage
10mls Omnipaque 300 in 1 litre of water
10ml/kg of solution
Drink over 1 hour
Scan immediately once finished
20mls Omnipaque 300 in 1 litre of water
10ml/kg of solution
Drink over 1 hour
Scan immediately once finished
Same solution ratio as per under/over 20kg
Drink over 30 minutes
Fast for 1 hour
GA immediately after
