Introduction

This page includes readings that will be used in class for discussion. You will earn credit for the completion of the question sheet and your participation in a class discussion about the reading. I tried to keep Power Points used in class to the left with the accompanying reading to the right. Additionally, the sources are in chronological order. If you miss a class or a discussion, it's up to you to print out the Power point and write your comments on each slide. This will replace a zero for a missed discussion. 

Any social models used are not to indoctrinate students. Insetad, such models are used to understand the social and politcal climate of the. Social models are just ideas and are not factual., nor do they reflect the views of the teacher.
