Giới thiệu TNTT

Phong trào Thiếu Nhi Thánh Thể bắt nguồn từ hội Cầu nguyện bên Pháp do các linh mục Léonard Cros và Ramadière khởi xướng giũa thế kỷ XIX với tinh thần Đạo Binh Thánh Giá theo 4 khẩu hiệu truyền thống: cầu nguyện, rước lễ, hy sinh và làm việc tông đồ.

Phong trào được thành lập đầu tiên ở Hà Nội vào năm 1929 do hai linh mục Léon Paliard và Paul Uzureau (thuộc Tu hội Xuân Bích), mang tên Nghĩa Binh Thánh Thể.

Tuỳ theo lứa tuổi từ nhỏ đến lớn, Nghĩa Binh được chia ra làm Tiền Binh, Trung Binh, Hậu Binh. Năm 1957, Hội Đồng Giám Mục Việt Nam bổ nhiệm linh mục Nguyễn Khắc Ngự lên tổng Tuyên uý đầu tiên.

Năm 1971, Hội Đồng Giám Mục phê chuẩn bản “Nội Quy Mới”. Năm 1972, Đại hội toàn quốc Về Đất Hứa I tổ chức tại Bình Triệu quy tụ khoảng 2.000 huynh trưởng.

Sau năm 1975, phong trào lan rộng và phát triển mạnh nơi cộng đồng Công giáo Việt Nam tại nhiều nước trên thế giới: Pháp, Đức, Úc, Hoa Kỳ, Canada...

History of VEYM

The Vietnamese Eucharistic Youth Movement shares its origin with the international Eucharistic Youth Movement (EYM). Specifically in Việt Nam, the Eucharistic Crusade was established by the St. Sulpice priests in 1929 at a school with traditional religious purposes facilitated by the “École Puginier” brothers in Hà Nội.

Over a period of active development throughout the dioceses, the Eucharistic Crusade released its first Bylaws in 1964 to unify all activities. In 1965, the name was changed to the Vietnamese Eucharistic Youth Movement, with emphasis on the mission of educating the youth.

With the continuous momentum of the Movement and to meet the educational needs of young people more effectively, a new Bylaws for the Vietnamese Eucharistic Youth Movement was published with the approval of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Vietnam in January of 1971.

After the fall of Sài Gòn in 1975, waves of Vietnamese spanned across the globe seeking refuge. Subsequently, the Vietnamese Eucharistic Youth Movement flourished and developed spectacularly within Vietnamese Catholic communities throughout the world, such as France, Germany, the United States, Canada, Australia...

SPIRITUAL BOUQUET CAMPAIGN 2026

Dearest Chaplains, Chaplain Assistants, Youth Leaders, and all members,

Our encounter with Jesus is a shared journey, not a solitary one. We encounter Him in prayer, in one another, and in the ordinary moments of our daily lives. And when we truly encounter Him, we are called to make Him present to others through the way we live.

Mary shows us how to truly live with Jesus each day, because that is exactly what she did. This month, through Mary, we are invited to do the same: to encounter Christ in our daily lives and, together, reveal Him to one another.

🌹 1. Spiritual Bouquet Campaign
For our Spiritual Bouquet campaign, we will be reflecting on the Mysteries of the Rosary throughout the month. Each day is associated with a Mystery and an action to live out that Mystery. In this way, we are invited not only to pray the Rosary, but to encounter the life of Christ in our own lives through Mary: to recognize Him in our ordinary moments, and to let each Mystery shape the way we live.

The Spiritual Bouquet Calendar is attached below. A printable version is also available for you to print and distribute to your Đoàn Sinh, families, and communities. To make it more even accessible, our team has made a weekly Spiritual Bouquet phone wallpaper!!! Each week, we will release a new home screen wallpaper. We encourage all VEYM members, both leaders and youth members, to use these wallpapers as a simple reminder throughout the day to pray, reflect on, and live out the Mysteries of the Rosary. No matter where we are, we can carry the same reminder with us throughout our day.

Your Đoàn Sinh will love it for their phones!!!

In addition to the daily Spiritual Bouquet reflections, we will come together every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 6:30 PST / 9:30 EST to pray the Rosary as one VEYM. Our rosaries will be dedicated to the Holy Father’s monthly intention for mental health. The link is https://url.veym.net/rosary

May this October be more than a month of praying the Rosary. May it be a month in which, together, as one VEYM, we encounter Christ in the ordinary moments of our daily lives, and, like Mary, reveal Him to the world through the way we live.

Ep. 1: What is Eucharistic Adoration?

Happy Solemnity of the most Holy Body and Blood of Christ VEYM family!

On this day of Solemnity of the most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, Ban Nghiên Huấn Trung Ương Phong Trào Thiếu Nhi Thánh Thể Việt Nam in the USA proudly introduce the first episode of “The Wonders of the Adoration” series, designed to help young adults discover the incredible gift of Jesus truly present in the Eucharist. More than a symbol or tradition, the Eucharist is the living presence of Christ: Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity, given to us out of His infinite love.

This series invites young adults to move beyond simply knowing about the Eucharist and toward encountering His Real Presence in the Most Blessed Sacrament. Through meaningful discussion and practical application, participants will deepen their understanding of the Adoration, grow in reverence for the Blessed Sacrament, and discover how the Eucharist transforms everyday life.
