As a child & teenager, I always had a passion for sports. I played Cricket (outdoor and indoor), Tennis, Soccer, Martial Arts, Golf, Rugby League, Touch Football, Australian Football, Baseball, Basketball and Volleyball. I was a strong swimmer representing my school and competing at a regional level. From 16 years old I worked out in the gym.

During my University in Lismore, I focused on Golf as my passion and Touch Football as a means of keeping fit. I won the Ballina Club Championships and the Northern Rivers Championships in the same year. Of course, my studies were also a massive part of my schedule at this time. Following my graduation, I specialised in the Fitness and Aquatic industry. Fitness and pool Facility Management, Learn to Swim Instructor, Swim Coach, Personal Training, Injury Rehab, and Aerobics. A busy period & big learning curve during this time.

From 1994 to 1999, I worked in Taree, Wingham, Singleton, Berkeley Vale, Fairfield (Syd) and Rooty Hill (Syd). Some amazing experiences.

In 1999, I joined the Resort on Lindamen Is in the Barrier Reef as the Golf Instructor. In 2001 I was moved within the company to Phuket, Thailand.

I spent 24 years working abroad teaching Golf, Swimming, Fitness, Tennis and consulting to International Schools for PE subjects (International School of Bangkok ISB and Bromsgrove International School BIS).

I've spent time working in Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia while also travelling often to Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, and Hong Kong.

A truly magical time. Now multilingual and understanding of cultural diversities.

In Dec 2022 it was time to come home. Reasons are varied but mostly family related. New opportunities for both business and career also played a big factor.

Now I happily spend time with and reconnect with my family members young and old.

Lucky to get some local work. You may have seen me behind the bar at the Bargara Lakes Tavern or driving the courtesy bus some evenings. Haha.

Studying in my spare time. Bachelor of  Education. Secondary PDHPE. Hope to be finished in early 2025.

Having reached the final year of my Education Degree, I have applied for and started my in school teaching. My status as a "Permission To Teach" (PTT) teacher means that I can be employed as a teacher while completing the final part of my degree.

I am now employed at Calliope State High School in the PTT capacity as a Physical Education Teacher. Having started in Sept 2024, I have just coming to the completion of the year and have loved my experiences so far. My contract continues until the end of 2025, and while I am looking forward to the vacation period, we are already preparing for a strong start to 2025 at the school.
