The Merrill School Winter STEM Club is designed to engage young children in understanding each element of STEM - science, technology, engineering, and mathematics - as it pertains to a specific theme. This year's theme is hot and cold!
Children will learn that scientists investigate and answer questions, and they will become scientists by testing temperatures and materials that keep things hot and cold.
Children will learn that engineers develop a technology and will design objects that can keep things hot and cold.
Children will understand that mathematics is a part of science through counting and measuring temperature and materials.
We are excited to announce that the Winter STEM Club is at the Merrill School in Raynham, MA!
It will take place immediately after school on Wednesdays from 3:15-4:30pm on the following dates: January 7, 21, February 4, 11, and 25.
(Note, this program does not meet on the BRRSD Wednesday early release days.)
Cost: $90 per child
Merrill School Winter STEM Club is a 5-session program and the cost covers all sessions. We do not offer refunds for missed sessions, but can offer a refund if your registration is canceled prior to the club beginning or for other extenuating circumstances that might prevent your child from participating in the majority of the classes. We have an enrollment minimum of 12 children and maximum of 20 children.
