The STEAM Powered Girls Club is designed to engage elementary children in the habits of mind and the innovation and design process of female scientists, engineers, and inventors.
Children will learn that collaboration, creativity, curiosity, empathy, imagination, inspiration, and perseverance are important mindsets to have while innovating and designing.
Children will engage in the engineering and scientific design process through asking questions, brainstorming, planning, designing, testing, improving, and communicating ideas.
Children will learn about famous and lesser known female STEM professionals and the important work they have done.
The club offers a variety of themes to excite and engage!
