Studio to Street Initiative: Giving Back Through Art
For me, creating art has always been more than a creative outlet—it’s the way I pour out my heart, share the pieces of my own story, and find light even in the hardest moments. Having walked through seasons of homelessness myself, and knowing firsthand what it feels like to wonder where your next meal will come from or where you’ll safely lay your head at night, my heart carries a special tenderness for anyone facing those same struggles today.
That’s why I created the Studio to Street Initiative. I wanted the art I make to do more than hang beautifully on a wall. I wanted it to become a quiet bridge of hope—a real, tangible way to reach back and lift others up. With every single piece that finds a new home through a sale, a meaningful portion of the proceeds goes directly toward supporting people who are experiencing hardship, especially those who are unhoused or facing food and housing insecurity.
The support we’re able to offer might look a little different from month to month—because real needs change, and we want to meet people exactly where they are. Sometimes it means helping provide warm meals on cold evenings. Other times it’s warm clothing, hygiene essentials, blankets, or bus passes so someone can get to work or a doctor’s appointment. We also partner with trusted local organizations doing compassionate, on-the-ground work in our community. Whatever shape it takes, the goal is always the same: to offer practical help with dignity, kindness, and respect.
If your heart is stirred and you’d like to be part of this circle of care—but purchasing a piece isn’t possible right now—please know that every donation, no matter the size, is received with the deepest gratitude. Every bit helps someone feel seen, supported, and a little less alone.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for being willing to join me in this gentle mission.
One brushstroke, one kind act, one person at a time… together we’re turning art into love in action.
Thank you for helping us Give Back Through Art. 💙
