Friendbers are welcome to run for Chair and join all of our committees (except Fraternal Relations):
Social/Impact Committee
Works closely with the Justice. This committee would plan the social events for the Chapter. This committee would also be in charge of planning our community service events, which is incredibly important. They would need to collaborate with other student orgs that do a lot of good work, and recommend to the Chapter any on-campus events that our Chapter should co-sponsor. They should also be looking for volunteer opportunities in the broader Boston area that our Chapter can participate in.
Professionalism Committee
Works closely with the Vice Justice. This committee would collaborate with the Co-Op office to plan professional development events, like resume and cover letter writing, and making a great LinkedIn page. They would also work with the Fraternal Relations Committee and compile resources for networking with alumni and potential internship and job opportunities from the [inter]national level.
Academics Committee
Works closely with Vice Justice. This Committee would collaborate with ASP to plan academic events, such as study tips, proctored practice exams, and case-briefing instruction. They would also work with the Fraternal Relations committee and compile resources for scholarship and academic excellence opportunities from the [inter]national level.
Communications Committee
Works closely with the Clerk. This committee would be responsible for getting reports from all other committees and compiling the newsletter periodically for distribution. They would also be responsible for taking candid photos at chapter events and updating social media pages, as well as other public relation functions.
Fundraising Committee
Works closely with the Treasurer. This committee would collaborate with the other committees to plan all of the fundraisers.
Fraternal Relations Committee
Works closely with the Marshal and Justice. This committee bears a lot of the work in that they are in charge of planning recruitment and initiation, engaging alumni, and working with the fraternity on a district/[inter]national level. This committee would also be responsible for providing information about opportunities available from the Fraternity at large. (The Chapter Delegates to the Convention, if different from the E-Board members, would be on this committee.)
Restrictions: Must be an official member of the Chapter to join this committee. Please contact northeastern.pad@gmail.com for more info.
