Go Ravens!
We work to bring a fun, energetic, and hard-working atmosphere to the program with positive reinforcement.
If a player is not exhibiting the Ravens values, the coaches will:
Have an open discussion with the player before or after practice to address our concerns.
If we don't see improvement, we'll reach out to the player's parents to continue the conversation.
If the player is still unable to contribute to the team and meet the expectations of our values, the player will be asked to sit out of a game and/or practice.
We will create a return to play plan with the player and the player's family.
In the Fall season, we work closing with the Athletic Coordinators at Eagle Staff Middle School and school counselors if applicable to better understand the student-athlete and how to create the best sport experience for each player.
Jerseys: All players have the option to either buy or borrow a Ravens jersey for the season. The Head Admin or Coach will arrange this at the beginning of each season. The cost of a jersey is typically under $40.
Ravens Frisbees: We have Ravens branded frisbees for sale for $20. See your email for payment details. It's a Conspiracy!
Other Items: We will have a Team Store with optional items such as Ravens Ultimate sweatshirts and hats. Ordering for these items typically begins in October each year.
Fall season: There are no player fees in the Fall because we are supported by Seattle Public Schools. There are optional items listed above that players can purchase.
Spring season: Each spring, we ask families to pay a player fee in the range of $30-$50 depending on the size of the program. This covers expenses such as field reservation costs, jerseys we loan out, and equipment (discs, first aid, cones, pinnes, etc.). Partial and full scholarships are available. No player will be turned away based on ability to pay.
Donations: We accept donations any time during the year for our scholarship fund and to lower the player fees in the spring. Contact this email for ways to donate. Thank you!!
