Dr. Jackie Cope has been in education for 10 years. She started at a small private school that taught her unique and effective ways to build relationships and classroom management strategies. From private school she went on to be a reading intervention teacher in public school. After that experience she moved back to her hometown and has taught in lower elementary ever since.

Dr. Jackie Cope is a strong Native American advocate of education. Education, western and Indigenous, serves a purpose and can help individuals reach their dreams and achieve their potential.

Dr. Copes intentions for teaching are:

• to engage all students in the learning process.

• to open the eyes and imaginations of all students.

• to make learning fun in order to cultivate life long learners.

• to share knowledge, content, and a love of learning.
