THE OVAL PORTRAIT

'The Oval Portrait' is a short horror story which unfolds when an injured Lord arrives at an abandoned chateau and discovers a room filled with incredible art.  One portrait in particular has a very disturbing past.

Thank you to the Ballarat Arts Foundation for their support with this project.
As the recipient of the 2021 Jack Anderson Film Award grant, Olivia French was able to purchase the equipment to make this short film possible.
We are incredibly grateful to BAF for their encouragement and ongoing support of the Arts in regional Victoria.

We would also like to thank the team at Kryal Castle where several of the film's scenes were shot.
