ALONE

'Alone' explores the experience of perceiving life and emotions differently to others which often results in feelings of loneliness and isolation.
The narrator's often intense imaginative life is a curse, forever setting them apart from others. However, it is also the source of inspiration for wonder and creativity.
The poem was one of Poe's earliest and was written shortly after the death of his foster moth in 1829. During his lifetime, the poem remained untitled, and it was only discovered in 1875 and then published posthumously.

This project was directed by Elizabeth Bradford and visuals by Gabriel Blake.
