Russ Gibbs is a former mechanical engineering veteran of 28 years at Seagate Technology. In 2016 he left the corporate world to pursue his dream of becoming an entrepreneur by forming “Rare Air Drone Services LLC”. His strong skills and passion for photography, videography, and video production, coupled with his interest in “all things mechanical” has led him to becoming a Drone Service and photography entrepreneur. Since January, 2017, Rare Air has provided drone services to over 6 different industries, learning much along the way and meeting great people in the process. Our goal is to continue building the company with an emphasis on providing the highest quality and value to the client. Russ is the proud father of 3 fine young men and has an incredibly supportive wife, Dawn!

Our complimentary standard service area for all jobs exceeding $200 is roughly shown in the green circle (35 mi radius from Berthoud. Our extended service area is shown in the red area and our extended service mileage fees will apply. Our standard service area for smaller jobs (< $200) is 35 miles round trip.
