Prim of the Week is a weekly prim show-and-tell event held every Saturday at 6pm SLT at None Found.
Here’s how it works: at the end of each event, the winner spins the theme wheel next to the stage, which sets the theme for the following week. Anyone is welcome to join by creating something that fits the theme out of prims within the week.
It must be entirely made out of prims (no sculpts, but scripts and textures are permitted), and made during the week for the event.
On Saturday, participants take turns presenting their creations on stage, sharing their creation process, inspiration, functions and so forth.
After all have presented, the audience and participants get 10 minutes to vote for their favorite entry.
Once the votes are in, the top 3 winners are announced and a linden prize is rewarded, and then the theme wheel is spun setting the theme for the next week.
It’s simple!
Just start building something that fits the theme of the week. There is no registration, but be sure to inform Skorzy anytime before 6pm SLT on Saturday and you're good to go.
No problem!
If you can’t attend but still want to showcase your work, you can have a trusted friend present for you. If you can’t find someone to present, just let me (Skorzy) know, and I’ll present on your behalf. It’s helpful to provide your presenter with a notecard with your speech to read to the audience.
