Welcome to EcoLiteracy at UNM!
This is a digital archive and community space dedicated to the people, programs, and projects related to environmental literacy happening all across the University of New Mexico. Our mission is to bring all of the important work that people are already doing in one accessible, curated space.
In doing so, we hope to accomplish the following goals:
To democratize the conversation about ecoliteracy by welcoming a broad range of voices
To empower students, staff, faculty, and community members to engage with and make a difference through increased awareness of environmental challenges
To create a bank of curricular resources related to ecoliteracy for use in the classroom and community
To foster cross-disciplinary and cross-community connections
To celebrate the important and exciting work related to ecoliteracy happening at UNM and beyond
This digital space is the central hub for the ecoliteracy initiatives happening all across the University of New Mexico. Together, we can bring greater collaboration and curiosity to environmental conversations at UNM, in the Southwest, and beyond.
