Fee Structure:
1.1 An annual membership fee is payable every year together with the first payment for the year.
1.2 Class fees are a set fee per year and the member has the choice to either pay it four quarterly in advance before each school term
or in 12 monthly installments in advance at the beginning of each month.
Four quarterly payments:
1.3 Payment for the upcoming term must show in studio bank account before end of current term.
1.4 This means term 1 of a new year should be paid in full before the end of term 4, unless notice to end membership is given.
1.5 The following year’s annual membership fee should be included with term 1 fee before the end of term 4.
12 Monthly instalments:
1.6 Payment for the upcoming month must show in studio bank account before the 1st of each month.
1.7 January’s fee as well as the following year’s membership fee must be included in December’s payment and show in studio bank account together as one payment by 1st December, unless notice to end membership is given in which case only December’s fee should be paid.
1.8 Next monthly payment is then due 1 February of the following year.
1.9 No cash are accepted, members make all payments into the studio BANK account with correct reference for identification: Studio bank details are: Acc no. 151 091 763, BSB 082 356, Ref: student name and surname
1.10 A 25% penalty fee will automatically be added to late payments sent in a 2nd invoice, a payment is considered late if it does not show in the studio bank account by the above payment deadline.
1.11 Class fees may increase each year and as a student progress in levels.
1.12 Students cannot attend class until all fees are paid up to date, please do not send students to class until fees are paid.
1.13 No fees are refundable.
2. Cancellation of membership:
2.1 A student is a member of the studio and responsible for payments until the procedure to cancel a membership has been followed correctly.
2.2 No student needs to re-enroll for each term, or each year. Membership rolls over until cancellation of membership has been given. If a student wishes to continue their membership for another term or year, no action is to be taken.
2.3 If a student wants to cancel their membership, they must give notice to do so by no later than the end of week 6 of the current term.
2.4 To give notice an exit form must be requested, completed and sent back before end of week 6 via email in order for the notice to be valid, no notice will be accepted without an official exit form as proof of cancellation.
2.5 The fees during the notice period are fully payable irrespective of attendance of class.
2.6 Any notices received after the end of week 6 is considered late in which case one monthly installment of the following term’s fee will be invoiced and is fully payable.
2.7 If the student attends classes for more than one class and wants to cancel only one class, the same notice procedure needs to be followed for the cancellation of that class.
3. Parents/Family/Friends:
3.1 Parents, family and friends are welcome to sit inside the studio and view every last class of each school term but no other classes are to be viewed inside the studio as this causes a lot of distraction among the students.
4. Medal tests and Concert:
4.1 Medal test fees, medal test uniform, concert rehearsal fees and costumes for concert is the financial responsibility of the student.
4.2 Medal test fees are payable upon completing the medal test registration form.
4.3 Studio uniform is compulsory for medal test with correct hair and shoes.
4.4 Students may be withdrawn from concert if the concert rehearsals are not paid for in full or not attended.
5. Class rules, behaviour and dance attire:
5.1 All enrolled students must arrive on time, make sure they visit the restroom before entering the class and wear the appropriate dance attire for their class.
6. Competitions:
6.1 Students who sign up for competitions dedicate themselves to attend competition lessons without fail and on time.
7. General:
7.1 The Studio will be closed during school holidays and public holidays, except when notified otherwise.
7.2 Although great care is taken with health and safety for students, students attend classes on own risk and no responsibility will be taken by the Studio for any injuries that may occur.
7.3 Although lost property is kept for a period of time for students to claim, the studio takes no responsibility for the loss of any property (clothes, shoes, bags etc).
