Our Hip Hop classes are designed to assist each student to allow their own style to shine through. Even though students learn the same exercises, techniques and routines, we encourage them to express it with their own unique style. Included in our Hip Hop training is break dancing, shuffle sequinces, commercial, vogue, krumping, popping and Locking.
For students who like to combine dance with gymnastics, Acro is the perfect class to be in. We offer safe and fun classes for students from the age of 3 years old where students move progressively through different levels creating a smooth transition to more advanced Acro.
Our Jazz combination class includes up to 4 dance styles of which Jazz is the first, then Contemporary/Lyrical, Rock&Roll and lastly Hustle. In Rock&Roll students explore the fun and trust of dancing with a partner. R&R includes techniques of your much loved Jive and Swing. Hustle is another partner dance with many similarities to the ballroom dance of Latin with quick and smooth turns and strong hip actions. As students become more advanced they transition to heeled shoes for Hustle.
Tap (starting as of 10 March)
As of March, we will also offer vibrant and energetic tap classes designed for all ages and skill levels. Whether you're a complete beginner looking to learn the basics or an experienced tap dancer seeking to refine your technique, our classes will provide a fun and supportive environment to grow your skills.
Mini Movers Jazz/Acro combination
In our Mini Movers class we build the foundation of technique in Acro and Jazz. In the form of fun games our smallest dancers learn to strengthen their bodies, learn sequences of choreography and build self confidence, therefore using their mind and body creatively. They get to perform at the end of year concert and when they turn 6 years old they can choose to move on to they're preferred style.
For students who have a competitive side we offer the opportunity to compete at annual competitions around Perth. The experience gained in these performances are valuable to students' dance development and although we have walked away with first place numorous times, the ultimate goal is to have fun and become more confident performers.
