Research Fellow (May 2024 - Present)
Dr. Anshul Baral is currently working on the Magnetocuring project, where his responsibilities include mentoring PhD scholars and overseeing the synthesis of well-defined ferrite particles with a high specific absorption rate (SAR). He earned his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Melbourne, where he conducted research on peptide biofunctional nanoparticles and metallic nanostructures using Sonochemistry. With a Master’s in Polymer Science and Rubber Technology from IIT Kharagpur and a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, he has developed a strong foundation in materials science, biochemistry, and polymer chemistry. His expertise includes the synthesis and characterization of magnetic materials, the design of induction systems for energy applications, and the analysis of mechanical and rheological properties. Among his achievements, he received the Melbourne Research Scholarship, DAAD Fellowship, Modi Rubber Prize and the Institute Silver Medal at IIT Kharagpur.
