The following statistical tests were performed to decide on an ideal soil composition:
- Two-tailed T-test
- Outlier test
The two-tailed T-test was performed to determine if there was any statistical significance between samples. The two tailed t-test was performed before it was determined that trial 5 contained faulty data.
Finding the interquartile range resulted in trial 5 containing outliers. Given this information, trial 5 was removed when calculating values for hydraulic conductivity.
