Pronouns are a part of someone’s gender expression, they are not fixed according to someone’s gender. Gender identity does not have fixed pronouns that accompany it and just because someone identifies as a certain gender does not mean that they can not express it in different forms. Gender identity is a personal thing, it varies person to person, which means each person expresses their identity differently, even if they identify the same as someone else. Just because someone who identifies as a woman uses she/her does not mean that everyone who identifies as a woman will use she/her. Pronouns are a way to express gender and gender is used to refer to the range of socially constructed characteristics pertaining to femininity and masculinity and differentiating between them.
