WATER TEST RESULTS

This annual health permit issued by El Dorado County Environmental Management Department

for 2025-26 hangs in the RTWA pump house.

The RAINBOW TRACT WATER ASSOCIATION submits water samples for testing through South Tahoe Public Utilities District (STPUD). Water from the system is sampled from various locations, including the hose bib at the pump house and individual residential cabins. Routine coliform bacteria tests are performed quarterly, Nitrate tests annually, and Nitirite-N tests performed triennially.

Be sure to notify RTWA if any work is done to supply lines in or around your cabin. The well needs to be routinely treated if the system is exposed at all to the exterior environment. Thank you!

The Rainbow Tract Water Association's 23 cabins consumed 4,756,539.5 gallons of water in the six-year span of 2015-2021 [an average of roughly 792,756 gallons of water per year (or roughly 34,468 gal./cabin/year)].
