APPLY FOR CAMPFIRE PERMIT

California Wildland Fire Coordinating Group (CWCG) issues 1-year campfire permits. It is FREE and EASY and CRUCIALLY IMPORTANT to be aware of fire safety in the Lake Tahoe basin.

Permits are issued to PERSONS, not buildings, so YOU MUST HAVE BEEN ISSUED A PERMIT PERSONALLY to have a campfire, use a charcoal barbecue, or use the wood-burning fireplace in your cabin on public land.
