About RAIN Rescue

RAIN Rescue is run by 100% volunteers. No one receives a salary. All of your donations go to support out furry friends until we find them a forever home.  We are a NO-KILL animal shelter.   We are the only rescue organization that serves Shingletown, Manton, Viola, Hat Creek and Old Station.  Our main focus is rescuing lost, abandoned, abused, neglected, or unwanted animals. We primarily rescue cats, dogs, kittens, and puppies (including those who require bottle feeding). We are also dedicated to the spay and neuter of cats and dogs in our community, including feral cats who are voiceless and often ignored. As the community changes, we will continue to change in order to address any new issues.  We have found forever homes for over 3,000 cats and 300 dogs! Thank you for your support.
