I earned my Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Konkuk University, Seoul, South Korea, in 2025, where I refined my expertise in applying theoretical and experimental methodologies to complex engineering challenges. Prior to this, I completed my Master’s degree in Biotechnology at Jamia Hamdard University, New Delhi, India, in 2016. Following my postgraduate studies, I contributed as a project assistant at the CSIR-Institute of Genomics and Integrative Biology, New Delhi, leveraging my interdisciplinary background, which spans environmental science, microbiology, protein engineering, and nanomaterial synthesis.

My research is driven by a commitment to integrating engineering principles with biochemical and material sciences to develop innovative solutions. Specifically, I explore fermentation technologies, optimizing microbial and enzymatic processes to enhance industrial applications. My work in enzyme catalysis focuses on improving reaction efficiencies for biochemical transformations, while my interest in nanomaterials involves synthesizing and engineering nanoscale structures with tailored functionalities. Additionally, I investigate bioremediation strategies to address environmental contaminants, employing engineered enzymes and microbial systems for sustainable remediation. Enzyme engineering and immobilization form another critical aspect of my research, where I develop novel approaches to enhance enzyme stability and reusability for industrial and environmental applications. My overarching goal is to bridge fundamental scientific discoveries with practical engineering applications, driving advancements in biotechnology and materials science.
